About the Company

If you’re anything like us, you have an incredible connection with your pets. When you’re out of town, you want to make sure they’re with someone who will love them just as much as you do. That’s why we started Aussie Mom Pet Sitting, to give you peace of mind while you’re at work, or on a trip and have to be away from your fur babies. We have been in business since 2016; offering doggy play date and day care services, as well as overnight boarding. If you need your furbabies in caring hands when you can’t be there, let them hang with the Aussie Mom Pack!

We offer Professional Personalized Pet Care!

We will do a complimentary Meet and Greet with your family to get all of the care instructions as you would like us to provide them. At that time we get shot records and will perform a behavior assessment. Then you can feel at ease knowing that your pets are getting the same care they would get at home and are in the hands of professionals!

We are a licensed LLC, insured through Business Insurers of the Carolinas, and Certified through NAPPS (National Association of Professional Pet Sitters).

About the Owners

Ashley has always had and cared for animals of all kinds as she was growing up. She now has a Master of Science in Marketing, BBA-Marketing, AS-Graphic Design, and an AS-Information Technology Degree, and she truly feels that animals are her passion! She started pet sitting part-time in 2011, outside of her full-time job as a Graphic Designer and Office Manager for two Aeronautics Companies, while living in Sarasota. In July 2015, when she moved back to the Polk County area, she first found another design job and quickly realized she was missing all the animals in her life. In February 2016, she decided to turn her love of animals into a full-time passion and started Aussie Mom Pet Sitting LLC.

Nancy has 10yrs experience as a certified dental technician, and has also worked as a licensed cosmetologist. She has now found her passion in pet care, and after having animals all her life she has found comfort in caring for them everyday. When her mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, she needed more time to be with her, and be at chemo with her, so she decided to leave her position as Assistant Mgr at a salon, to come full time in the business and be there for her mom. Now, even though her mom has been gone since 2017, Nancy has decided to stay on as a co-owner in the business because she's finally found something that she truly enjoys! The animals keep her smiling everyday! She has now been a full time owner in the business since June 2016.

Together, they have 3 beautiful pups: Roxy (16.5y female Aussie mix), Shelby (12y female Wheaton Terrier mix), and Dallas (10-year-old male Hound Mix). They also have three cats, Moana, Kenzie, and Eywa, and the pack is completed by their chameleon, Jade. Their love of animals shows in the way they care not only for their pets but also for all of their clients' pets.
